Design Learned worked with Bacon Group and local architects Caro, Monroe, Liang to create this beautiful, state-of-the-art shelter for the community of Gloucester, Virginia.

Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society was completed in 2009 under a $3.2 million budget. The 14,293 square foot facility has both comfort and luxury. The building contains individually conditioned dog suites as well as cat condos that are continuously exhausted from the litter areas.
